ConfigAI's purpose is to allow your team to enjoy proactive, AI-based contract metadata field recommendations for extracted, common contract clause types. Your team can also enjoy visibility and governance of these recommendations at a glance - and decide which contract clause metadata fields to capture.
Your contract managers can analyze the frequency of clauses within your CobbleStone Contract Insight® contract management software platform. Additionally, your contract managers can view which type of contract AI processes are associated with a given clause.
ConfigAI can provide AI-enabled recommendations so your contract managers can add appropriate contract metadata fields to capture clauses or populate existing contract records with extracted clause data based on system data.
This feature serves to sharpen the accuracy and consistency of your clause analysis and reporting processes.
The contract management software system can identify contract metadata fields you might want to add to CobbleStone® based on documents, files, and attachments your team is entering into the system. In addition to those you've added, CobbleStone's VISDOM artificial intelligence already recognizes common contract clause types via a large bank of classified clauses from which the engine has learned (see CobbleStone's million-clause initiative).
As you upload contracts (individually or in bulk), clauses are extracted from each file. The system can identify (based on the sliding "Clause Frequency" threshold configuration in the screenshot above) which clauses are not currently being mapped onto a tidy contract metadata field. ConfigAI will subsequently recommend a metadata field for clauses that are often used - according to your configuration preferences and needs!
For example, say a contract manager named John wants to see clauses that appear in 85 percent or more of his newly introduced files. In this case, John would toggle his "Clause Frequency" slider to 85 percent and see clauses with a frequency greater than or equal to his chosen frequency, complete with a display of:
You can also have the system return to previously-introduced records and retroactively add your new clause metadata field settings to those contract records.
