Cyber Essentials is an annually renewable certification that assesses organizations against five key technical control areas: firewalls, secure configuration, security update management, user access control, and malware protection. The certification provides independent validation that an organization has implemented foundational cybersecurity controls to help safeguard systems, data, and operations.   

 

To achieve certification, CobbleStone completed a comprehensive assessment of its in-scope networks, devices, user accounts, cloud services, and security controls. The assessment was independently reviewed by a qualified Cyber Essentials assessor, confirming compliance with the program's requirements.   

 

This achievement further enhances CobbleStone's robust security program, which includes vulnerability management, timely security updates, multi-factor authentication (MFA), endpoint protection, system hardening, ongoing security monitoring, and strict access controls designed to help protect customer and organizational data.
