SOFTWARE SALES & MARKETING ASSOCIATE - Lindenwold, NJ 
Core Roles & Responsibilities
The Software Sales Associate is an individual contributor responsible for responding to company generated leads, securing new business, meeting designated target revenue goals, and ensuring renewals of existing accounts. New business is derived from both incoming leads and newly prospected clients. The Sales Representative is responsible for managing the complete sales lifecycle including responding to incoming leads, identifying new opportunities, building and managing a pipeline, presentations, management, and securing contracts.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute focused sales strategies and development spanning the region and market.

- Responding to, and assisting with, incoming leads

- Prospecting and opportunity/lead development through direct sales, partners, networking, and field marketing activities

- Overall work breakdown expected: 85% Sales, 15% Marketing

OVERALL SALE CYCLE MANAGEMENT INCLUDING:

- Qualification and needs analysis of prospects

- Presentations and demonstrations to prospects in person and remotely via on-line meeting sessions

Securing and managing new business

- Closing business/securing contracts

- Coordination with support and implementation teams

- Sales planning and reporting activities including reporting pipeline and sales forecasts

- Work closely with Director of Sales & Marketing to develop new sales and marketing strategies and campaigns

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

- Stellar sales communication skills

- Prior client base sales a plus

- Success in securing business and meeting specific target revenue goals a plus

- Experience in direct sales a plus

- Knowledge of computers and computer software required

- Strong presentation and demonstration skills

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills

- Entrepreneurial spirit

- Willing and able to travel for prospect, client, and marketing tasks

- Bachelor degree from an accredited university in business, sales/marketing, or a related discipline; alternatively, extensive and relevant business experience/track record will be considered

Core Roles & Responsibilities
FOR COBBLESTONE SOFTWARE - SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS TO CLIENTS:

- Provide tier 1/ level 1 software application support

Technical & General support via phone, e-mail and Cobblestone’s Support Help Desk

Assist with client configurations

- Assist with client implementations

FOR COBBLESTONE SOFTWARE INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS & USERS

- Provide tier 1/level 1 software application support to sales staff with their demos

Assist with system/application documentation efforts

Assist with error tracking and bug logging on our software application

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

- Familiarity in an IT Support or Customer Support role/position (1 year or equivalent education)

Knowledge providing technical support to customers on web-based applications and systems

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

Technical writing and documentation knowledge or experience

Use of online/web-based applications and systems

Strong presentation and demonstration skills

Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills

Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated individual

Must be able to legally work in the United States

Must be able to travel
