CobbleStone Software is seeking a high energy individual with strong sales instinct to join our fast growing team as a Sales Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will join a results oriented, casual, fun environment. The Sales Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and leading a team for qualifying, identifying, contacting, and developing quality sales opportunities for the Corporate Sales team. This essential team manager will drive buying demand and corporate growth by creating and delivering leads that build pipeline for our Sales team. This individual will interact with leads and current clients, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographic area. Ideal candidates should be eager to learn about the industry and target market. This position is based in Lindenwold, NJ. The Sales Business Development Manager will also be responsible for running regional and industry-specific campaigns focused primarily on cold calling, developing and qualifying leads to the point of handoff to the Sales team. As an Sales Business Development Manager, you are responsible for forging the expansion of the CobbleStone corporate account base while learning the skills to be a successful business development executive and maximizing your personal earnings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outbound prospecting to target the assigned market segment.
  • Prospect into multiple organizations via targeted cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, social media, and utilizing Internet information sources.
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call.
  • Develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating our software value.
  • Qualify and identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within an organization.
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition the qualified lead to the appropriate Sales representative for further follow-up/demo.
  • Document sales information in CRM following the approved process.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company products and clearly articulate features & benefits to prospective customers.
  • Responsible for making a specified minimum outbound calls and emails daily.
  • Accountable for meeting weekly goals and established metrics.
  • Utilize the sales tools provided.
  • Deliver activity reports to executive management.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Build and coach a team of BDRs to develop their sales skills including industry knowledge, planning, forecasting, prospecting, execution, and other necessary skills, while maintaining individual accountability to goals.
  • Standard measurements will focus on leads generated, meetings scheduled, demos completed, actual sales revenue, interaction with clients and prospective clients, sales growth, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new leads.
  • Update the company on changing trends within the online sales environment so the organization can make and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Understand and work toward meeting the company’s mission and corporate goals, such as but not limited to: assist or perform duties related to customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, customer retention, risk mitigation, an/or cost savings.
  • Understand your job duties and metrics; perform annual trainings as request by the company.
  • Professionally manage duties, be on-time, detail tasks management, client feedback and suggestions.
  • In-depth understanding of CobbleStone products and features as required by your specific role.
  • Respond to internal and external related inquiries or requests and provide assistance to other staff members as required.
  • Schedule calls, meetings, tasks, planning events, implementation, training, maintain the team’s agenda
  • Work with CobbleStone team members, where necessary, to recommend solutions that support the company mission and goals.
  • Take direction from management, directors, superiors, and others and provide advice in a professional manner.
  • Track and report on metrics
  • Professional communication and team interaction.
  • When asked: assist and/or lead the mentoring other staff.
  • Perform general office duties inclusive of answering phones, emails, meetings, and other related job duties.
  • Retain strict confidentiality obligations of company policies and those if its clients; inclusive of not participating in, responding to surveys/questions, or posting company/client/vendor/employee or non-public information on social media sites or other public sources.
  • Maintain compliance with PTO and time-off policies, security policies, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and client contract obligations; strive to schedule all time-off in advance and coordinated with manager and Human Resources.
  • Be reliable, professional, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with meeting Companies goal of client revenue grow, client retention, profitability goals.
  • May require travel, may require long period of time at a computer and other physical activities.

  • Assist with other duties assigned as required to achieve company’s mission

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or relevant experience.
  • Ability to conduct several tasks per day while maintaining consistent effort and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work closely with a sales team, contribute positively to workplace culture and behave in a professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and trust quickly with customers.
  • Willingness to learn from other team members as well as share personal insight into role and function in team’s overall success.

Previous experience in a quota carrying or inside sales role preferred
