Brittany DiCamillo - a Senior Account Manager at CobbleStone Software - has recently won the award of "2020 Account Manager of the Year" – and she doesn’t plan on pumping the brakes in 2021. Brittany has been a member of the CobbleStone Software team since 2010, and has been instrumental in the company's evolution into the global contract management software key player that it is today. We caught up with Brittany on the heels of her win to talk about her experience at CobbleStone Software, as well as how she has become a Contract Insight® expert over the past 10+ years.
Q - In what ways have you seen CobbleStone grow and prosper during your tenure?
A - CobbleStone has grown tremendously since I started as an intern in 2010. Our dedication to client success really sets us apart and allows us to continue to lead the contract lifecycle management software market in innovation, new features, and more. We take pride in the relationships we build with our clients and prospective clients to ensure we are providing detailed and tailored demonstrations. We ensure requirements are met, make sure that an organization has trust in the product they are selecting, and feel confident in the support our staff provides. Our staff is really dedicated to our clients. I believe this has played a significant roll in the major growth over the past 10+ years.
Q - What, in your experience, does it take to be an effective and successful contract management software account manager?
A - I typically measure my success in client satisfaction. I take pride in ensuring that the organizations I work with feel confident with selecting Contract Insight - and that they feel comfortable with CobbleStone resources. I want to make sure that a client is able to approach me, no matter the situation, to assist at any time. I also think that it is crucial to take advantage of the resources that CobbleStone provides - like our growing bid team, other account managers, and more to ensure we are always providing effective solutions to our clients.
Q - In terms of client interaction and assistance, did you have to evolve your process in the wake of remote work requirements and stay-at-home orders? If so, how?
A - Working remotely has given me the opportunity to use the time I typically use for commuting to, instead, prepare for my day. I start the day by creating a to-do list of follow-ups, quotes, demos etc. - which has helped in staying organized. It was an adjustment working from home with the chaos of my family and dog, but after a few weeks I was able to find a good balance. It also helps that many other clients and prospective clients were also working from home and they could sympathize. It allowed me to connect with them in a way that I hadn’t before by discussing the changes from remote work, family, and more personal experiences.
Q - What strategy helped you earn recognition as CobbleStone's 2020 Account Manager of the Year?
A - My account management strategy this year was really driven by the COVID-19 outbreak. There was a strong desire to help organizations automate their contract management processes to ensure that they could continue crucial business transactions while working remotely.
Q - Which types of organizations attain value from CobbleStone Software's Contract Insight®?
A - CobbleStone serves a wide variety of industries in both the public and private sectors. We offer a highly configurable solution that allows us to meet the needs of many different types of organizations. I think the primary organizations that can see an immediate ROI are those in highly regulated industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking, government and education.

A - CobbleStone clients often boast about the level of customer service they receive from an account management and support perspective. The dedication our staff commits to our clients really sets CobbleStone apart. Additionally, they love the easy to use and configurable platform/interface.
Q - What positions CobbleStone Software as a contract management, vendor management, and eProcurement software leader?
A - CobbleStone is always taking client feedback into high consideration when developing new features and functionality. We stand out in that we are able to offer an innovative product. Ensuring that functionality is aligned with client use is significant, and I think client satisfaction and our very low client turnover rate are a direct result of this.
Q - What has been your proudest moment while working at CobbleStone Software?
A - I really enjoy watching the growth and achievements of our account management team and assisting new account managers in becoming successful. The relationships I have made with my team and seeing that my assistance and expertise can contribute to their success makes for a very rewarding experience.
Q - What is your goal for 2021 and how do you plan to achieve it?
A - My goal for 2021 is to continue to support CobbleStone’s growth, contribute to client success, and offer an innovated CLM product. I will continue to work closely with my team, directors, and other internal resources to ensure growth and success. I look forward to all of the feature enhancements and opportunities that 2021 will bring.
